Documenters: Jack Cochrane

by Amelia Singh

Jack Cochrane is a 22-year-old originally from Hamilton and currently a student journalist at Toronto Metropolitan University. Their work spans a few different areas, from politics and tenant advocacy to the intersection of public policy and legal systems. Jack is also really interested in gaming culture, especially the preservation of retro formats and the evolving narratives of long-running franchises. Across everything they cover, they’re drawn to stories about power, community and how the various systems surrounding us shape everyday life.

Jack is focusing on the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), a multi-issue, membership-based community union of low- and moderate-income people.
