Beyond The Study Abroad is a 4-episode podcast series, narrated and created by Natasha Budhai, on the challenges and overall journey of international students who come to Canada in pursuit of post-secondary studies. Beyond the beauty of traveling abroad, there are many challenges faced when pursuing their dreams – including struggles with finances, mental health, social and academic life and housing.

In this series, we take a look at the different factors and challenges of international students in Canada, analyzing the issue and discussing with our guests the significance of these impacts. I’m joined with two international students from TMU and a representative from The Canadian Federation of Students (CFS) and TMU’s International Student Support (ISS).
